WINTHROP- Aaron Jacob Young, 14, lost his life unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Lewiston.

Aaron Young was a freshman at Winthrop High School. He was best known as an excellent student who loved golf, bowling, and playing video games with his best friends.

Aaron was a kind and thoughtful boy who was always concerned for other people’s happiness. His gentle heart and care for others is what made Aaron stand out.

Aaron’s hero was his father, William Arthur Young, who lost his life with him. Wherever Bill was, you would find Aaron not far behind.

Aaron is survived by his mother, Cynthia, sisters, Kayla and Lauren, grandfathers Robert Young and Chet Guilford, Aunt Wendy Bell, Uncle Robert Young, and cousins Tyler, Lexi, and Audrey Bell, Isaac and Joshua Young, and Abraham and Nathan Guilford.

Aaron’s Memorial Service will be at Hope Baptist Church, 726 Western Ave, Manchester on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM. There will be a time of visitation at the Church on Friday beginning at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
