Sidney ~ Albert was born June 15, 1958 in Lewiston, the son of Joseph L. Beaulieu and Juliette L. (Blais) Beaulieu. He passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 20, 2018.
Albert married Christina L. (MacDougall) Beaulieu on January 15, 1983. They were married 35 years and together had two daughters, Sarah Harding of Harmony and Rebecca Beaulieu of Lewiston. Albert had a son from a previous marriage, Joseph Beaulieu of Englewood, Florida and a stepdaughter, Johannah Oberg of Winthrop.
Albert was a member of the U.S. Navy as a Machinist Mate and was stationed in Scotland working on the USS Ben Franklin Submarine. He was an active member of the American Legion. After his military service, he was employed by the US Postal Service in Auburn for many years.
Albert could always be found tinkering around the house, working in the garage, tending to his gardens, wood burning art, camping and fishing. Albert had a big heart and was always the first one to offer help to his family and friends.
Albert was predeceased by his father and his nephew Beau Beaulieu.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, children and grandchildren; Mackenzie, Laura, Alex, Destynie, Jason, Marissa, Kayleigh and Madisyn. He is also survived by his siblings; a twin brother Alan, Timothy, Jessie and two sisters, Louise and Lisa. He also had many friends who meant a great deal to him.
Committal services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Maine Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Chapel on Mt. Vernon Road in Augusta.
