Manchester ~ David A. Hinson, 57, of Pete's Way, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his home. He was born in Newburgh, NY on March 24, 1958, the son of William and Lorraine (Handley) Hinson. David graduated from Central Valley High School in Newburgh, NY and attended the University of Connecticut. When he was younger, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout as a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He was owner of Purbeck Isle Inc. in Gardiner and Augusta. He enjoyed taking his show dogs to competition and field trials. He also enjoyed spending time with his children gardening and landscaping. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Debra, William and Robert. He is survived by his 2 sons William and Alexander Hinson of Warwick, RI; the mother of his children Kristen Hinson of Warwick RI; his sister Cheryl Musante of Walden, NY; his first wife Ellen Jones of Richmond; 2 half-brothers, Benjamin Hinson and Henry Hinson ;also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visiting hours and services will be private.
