BENTON -- George R. 'Randy' Kilbourne Jr., 62, of Benton, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at the V.A. medical center at Togus. He was born in Portland on Dec. 12, 1949, the son of George and Elaine (Carroll) Kilbourne. George graduated from Littleton N.H. High School, and served with the Army's 101st Airborne in Vietnam. After his service, George had worked for Grondin Construction in Portland, Kelly the Florist in Littleton, N.H., as a landscaper and at Pilgrim Furniture before having to stop work because of a disability. George loved motorcycles, especially his Harley, and enjoyed listening to the Beatles. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer MacGuire, of Landaff, N.H.; two sisters, Sharon K. Norton, of Gardine, and Katharin Park, of Chandler, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Corey and Kaleb; four nieces, Leigh-Anne, Katharin, Kayla and Brieanna; two nephews, Sean and Corey; and several cousins. There will be no visiting hours. A graveside service with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
