Gloria W. Fields, 88, returned to her heavenly home on January 23, 2017 after a valiant battle with Dementia and Alzheimer's at Glenridge in Augusta. Gloria was born July 2, 1928, to the late Marvin and Doris (Spencer) Willey, and was one of six close bonded siblings. After graduating from high school, Gloria became a CNA, where she became more of a friend than a nurse to each person whose home she entered. She worked right up until the age 82. Gloria had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Calvary Foursquare in Gardiner Maine. She was a devoted Christian, mother, grandmother, aunt, and a friend to everyone. Gloria had a tremendous heart for people, we may never truly know how many people Gloria touched and impacted. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, her husband Philip (Kent) Fields, and her sisters, Shirley Goulette, Beverly Jones, Jacqueline Mace, and Betty Jane Steward. Gloria is survived by her sons, Christopher (Skip) Fields and John Fields. Her grandchildren, Aleasha West and Husband John, Tara Casoria-Gregoire and Husband Jay, Justin Johnson, and Kiefer Holton. Twelve great grandchildren, Donovan, Pierre, Jasmine, Madeline, Dennis, Joannie (Jojo), Nyomi, Kyla-Paris, GloriaJoyce (Emma), Benson, Shiloh, and Abigail. Her best friend of almost 40 years, Norine White. And numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held February 3, at 2p.m. at Calvary Foursquare in Gardiner, Maine. Potluck snacks and refreshments are to immediately follow. Burial will be beside her late husband in Winterport at Oak Hills Cemetery to be determined later May 2017.
