Obituary

BELGRADE ? Norman E. Williams Jr., 54, of Knowles Road, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on March 4, 2002, at his home in Belgrade. He was born in Augusta April 12, 1947, the son of Norman E. and Kathleen (Burnell) Williams Sr. He worked for Carleton Woolen Mill in Winthrop for 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and drawing. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Augusta. He was predeceased by his father in 1976. He is survived by his companion, Darlene Bonneface of Belgrade; his mother, Kathleen Williams of Winthrop; a son, Norman Williams III and wife, Jen, of Tucson, Ariz.; three brothers, Stephen Williams and wife, Wendy, of Lewiston, Douglas Williams and wife, Joan, of Winthrop, and James Williams and wife, Melissa, also of Winthrop; three sisters, Geraldine 'Gerri' Robinson and husband, Lee, of Winthrop, Barbara Williams of East Livermore, and Donna Droullard and husband, Bruce, of Readfield. He is also survived by Darlene's children, Gene Soucy, Jeremy Soucy, Angie Soucy and Benjamin Morrison; and Alexis Soucy, whom he loved like a granddaughter, and many nieces, nephewss, cousins, aunts and an uncle. There will be no visiting hours. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the Church of the Nazarene, Augusta, with Rev. Norman Shaw officiating. Spring burial will be in Glenside Cemetery, Winthrop. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home, Winthrop.
